Depending on the sign-in method you choose, Guru Vandan may collect your name, email address, phone number, and Firebase user ID. The app also stores your language preference and devotional routine activity, such as meditation completion, satsang completion, streak counts, and quote interactions.
Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and Firebase services may process account identifiers, device identifiers, approximate location, product interaction and other usage data, diagnostic data, and other technical service data. This information supports sign-in, security, app functionality, service reliability, and analytics.
How We Use Information
Account Functionality
To keep your profile, name, language choice, and signed-in app experience working across app sessions.
Routine Progress
To show meditation continuity, routine history, satsang completion, and personal progress inside the app.
Wisdom Content
To display Sadguru wisdom quotes in the language selected by the user.
App Maintenance
To understand feature usage, diagnose technical problems, and keep app content and routine features working properly.
Sharing And Sale Of Data
Guru Vandan does not sell personal data or share it with data brokers or advertisers. We do not use collected data to track users across other companies' apps or websites. Data is processed by service providers, including Apple, Google Sign-In, and Firebase, for authentication, database storage, app functionality, security, diagnostics, and analytics.
Storage And Security
User data is stored using Firebase Authentication and Firebase Realtime Database. Data is transmitted using secure connections where supported by Firebase and Google services.
No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards and only collect data needed for the app's devotional routine features.
Your Choices
You may sign out of the app at any time. Signing out does not delete your account data. To permanently delete your account and associated data, open Other in the app and select Delete account permanently. You can also use the deletion page below if you cannot access the app.
Children
Guru Vandan is not directed to children. The app is intended for general devotional use by adults and families under their own supervision.
